We operate in all manner of environments, from gas plants, heliports and airline lounges to platforms, FPSOs, floatels and drilling rigs where thousands of workers spend a long time away from their family and friends. We also support our clients in their offices onshore.

Our clients operate in hazardous environments where safety is paramount, and this is reflected in our own safety-first approach.

Our See Care Share programme instils a safety culture from the top of our organisation down, ensuring safety is incorporated into our decision-making, we walk and talk safety in our daily interactions, and we demonstrate safety behaviours in everything we do.

We collaborate with our clients to ensure we understand their HSE priorities and work together to ensure the wellbeing of our customers and colleagues every day.

Our customers often spend weeks at a time away from home, and we are committed to creating a welcoming environment for them, putting their wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do.

We understand the importance of great food to fuel our customers for their shifts and to enable them to socialise and wind down after work, along with clean and comfortable accommodation to relax and re-energise in.

As well as providing first class foodservice and facilities management, our teams become an integral part of their offshore communities and look out for the wellbeing of our customers. We recognise the challenges of living offshore and promote our Wellness programme to address all aspects of wellbeing.

We support our clients’ onshore facilities too, delivering high quality foodservice and a wide range of facilities management tasks to a variety of head office locations.

Getting supplies offshore can be challenging. We have a well-established network of proven sourcing and logistics partners, guaranteeing quality products and consistency of supply offshore.

When it comes to food, we are proud advocates of Scottish produce and work hard to support local suppliers, often small businesses, by showcasing their products in our menus.  

If our clients need a Total FM solution, we have a reliable network of specialist delivery partners who we can call on and deploy.

FOODSERVICE THAT ENHANCES THE WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE

Our offshore catering service is designed to prepare our customers for work and bring them together to socialise when their shifts are finished. Our daily menus are designed to meet contemporary tastes and presented to give the wow factor, and our chefs regularly create bespoke menus for special events.

Onshore, we serve thousands of meals daily to customers dining in workplace restaurants and provide wide-ranging hospitality, from meeting refreshments to high end dining.   

Whatever the occasion, we pride ourselves on providing freshly cooked, beautifully presented dishes using high quality ingredients.

HIGH STREET INSPIRED RETAIL SOLUTIONS

Across ESS, we provide cafés, bars and stores offering customers a selection of hot and cold food and drinks for now, as well as carefully selected food for later and non-food ranges.

We work independently and with well-known brands including Costa, Starbucks, Greggs and Subway. Our partnership with Change Please social enterprise coffee supports people experiencing homelessness with housing, training and support into employment.

The ways we deliver our offers to our customers is becoming ever more important. Scaling the benefits of the latest technology is now an essential part of our service, from 24/7 frictionless and self-service options to click & collect or click & deliver via the ESS App.

PARTNERING WITH CLIENTS ON A WIDE RANGE OF FM SERVICES

Across ESS, we clean over 21 million square metres every week for our clients, from secure offices and accommodation to medical centres and sports facilities.

We provide more than 100 other Soft FM services too, including administration and reception, waste management, reception services, hotel management and laundry. You name it and we can do it.

Our people are multi-skilled, providing greater flexibility and efficiency.

We also work with Hard FM partners to offer TFM solutions and we’re on all the major procurement frameworks.
